We're back once again to bring you another film review courtesy of your friendly neighbourhood Film Reviewers! This time we cast our eyes over the latest Quentin Tarantino piece and sit down in front of our mic to tell all. Who played what, what was said and what happened? There's only one way to find out! So stop reading and start listening!
Since we haven't stated it on the show recently, a brief re-introduction to our rating system may be needed:
A perfect film would score 0. For every little niggle we have, every scene we think is terrible, every acting choice we don't like, points are taken away at our discretion. 0, -0.1, -0.2, -0.3, -0.4, -0.5, -1, -1.5, -2, etc. We have a cap of -20, but who knows what film maybe out there to break that!
(Edit from the future: Yes, we know this review system was needlessly complicated. Don't worry, it only took us another 60 or so episodes to fully drop it...)

Hello and welcome to this, the newest episode of BlokeBusters! Inside you will find our two intrepid hosts talking about a fairly underground director by the name of Tim Burton. We're sure many of you have seen a film or two of his and we wanted to give our own insights into the man's works. This is something that we want to do every now and again, so hopefully we'll be doing this a little more often. Unless we start getting emails or the like pleading with us to stop. December 23, 2012 Review 9: Xmas Special or It's A Wonderful Podcast!
Seasons Greetings to you all. Happy insert holiday of choice here and (hopefully) a wonderful New Year. We've decided to release a special podcast for the holidays (think of it as a Christmas gift, or whatever the tradition is you care to follow) wherein we give short reviews of several holiday "classics". Seen it on the TV in the last few weeks? It might end up being talked about inside. So grab a cup of hot/cold seasonal beverage and drink us in along with it.

In today's comedic outing, we talk about which of Mel Brooks' films is our favourite. Paul picks the one with that guy, while Brian decides he's more into that other one with the woman. Which films are they? Why are they our favourites? You'll need to listen in to find out! We do discuss the plot of both films, so we'd recommend you only listen if you have seen both of the films (which we're sure most of you have) or if you don't mind spoilers (and believe us, even if it's spoilt, you will still love watching them!).
