Our guest has been a part of the Newman community—first as a student, and then as a teacher for over three decades. Her contributions have enriched life at Newman for staff, students and parents in so many ways. Our candid discussion focuses on her role as teacher, producer and director over the course of her long tenure, her methods, her philosophies on directing and her plans for the near future. Sit back, relax and bask in the warmth of her many positive memories. We will explore her methods, her vision and putting it all together! Art isn't easy, but the rewards are great indeed. Enjoy this one listeners! (Music: Neon Hour)

Andrew Teggelove and Donald Lindo have run a very successful boys basketball program at Newman for a good long while now. They led a group of boys in the 2019 season to a 15-1 record, to lose only in the final in the very last moments of the game. A pretty formidable record, just one of the things we will touch on today in our candid discussion about what it takes to run a successful basketball program at this level. We are excited to talk VR and other tech, how it can be used effectively in the classroom, high school days and the future of the human race. Are we destined to live in a dystopian world as slaves to our robot overlords, or will humanity create a technological utopia? Nick and I discuss these topics and more. (Music: Anfernee Hardaway)

On The Bluff today, we catch up with alumnus and former professional footballer Julian De Guzman. Julian played with many of Europe's big clubs, including clubs in France, Spain, Germany and Greece, eventually coming home to play with hometown club, Toronto FC. We have another special feature for this episode; a guest host, who also had a career in football overseas, my friend and colleague at St. Maria Goretti Elementary, Ainsley Romany. Your hosts are excited to delve into the experiences of a Canadian legend of the beautiful game, and a living example of what the right mindset and unwavering dedication can help you achieve in this world. I am truly honoured to talk with these gentlemen about three of my favourite topics; Newman, Soccer and Soccer.
