Joining us is a dynamic couple Niki and Ryne which have been long time friends of ours, and they are sharing with us their stories and journey to success. Nikki is currently an elementary school teacher in Santa Ana and she gives us recommendations for those that are looking to go into education and what to look for in programs. After receiving her teaching credential from Concordia University, Irvine, she highlights the impact distance or virtual learning has played in her career and the ways she’s had to adapt for her classroom and students. On the other hand, Ryne has had a passion for aquatics and graduating from Whittier College, he carried his skills for management and leadership that is evident in his service as lifeguard and pool manager for the City of Irvine. He has now moved up in his role, and is a full time aquatics director for the city, giving us and inside perspective into the interview process and what we can expect as a state employee specially working in community services. Both of them have worked diligently and made great strides in their careers, so tune into to hear how they did it and the advice they have in-stored for us!

On this episode of The Bois R’Us we have a special guest - Clayton Einck, he is a long time friend of Ian joining us to share with us his amazing experiences traveling the abroad through Southeast Asia. Having played water polo at Tustin High School, after graduating he decided to take a new path in his life to redefine himself so out of courage and with a spirit of adventure, he set out to seek new experience. He packed his bag and waved good bye and made his way across many countries that include Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia. While there he befriended the locals and traveled across remote villages joining farmers among rice paddies that we helped harvest and sell in the local markets. His trip took a turn of events with the Covid restrictions and had to stay in lock down in one this villages. With the help of the local embassy, he was able to safely return home. He is now seeking new adventures here and is working on obtaining his captain license to operate marine vessels in a boat towing company in the Newport Harbor. He is the brother of our host Steven from Judge Scuba Steve and is sharing some of his experiences and life lesson's we can all inspire from. Often mistaken as Pete Davidson by his looks and charisma, he's had a few encounters with crazed fans and also some perks. To go along he's always had a passion for skating, which unfortunately had to stop due to an injury, but that did not stop him. Instead, he underwent rehabilitation and overcame some of the mental and physical challenges that come with this type of injury. Above all else, he continued to develop his talents and career and is now attending Santiago Canyon College focusing on computer science and IT. He then went on to join Dr. Squatch were he is currently a logistics coordinator and giving us an insight into how we can translate our skills between careers and the need to highly value ourselves. Today we have a one of a kind guest, Gabriele Simonti aka The Italian Stallion. Born and raised in Italy, he is joining The Bois R'Us to give us an inside look into life as a water polo athlete in the US and in Italy. Growing up in Italy he has had a passion for aquatics and began his water polo playing career at a local club in Florence. Having visited California with his family multiple times he grew fond of the culture and competitive athletic edge the states had to offer. He joined Orange Coast College training under coach Adam Lee, and later transferred to George Washington University in Washington DC playing Division 1 Water Polo and majoring in Psychology. While there are many differences between west, east, and European water polo he is here to answer all of your questions. Grabiele continued his passion for sports and is now a Masters candidate in Sports Psychology at Minnesota State University.  Don't miss out on this amazing interview!

We have a very special guest who among many things has been spearheading one of the best high school water polo programs. We have joining us Kyle Kime . He is currently a head coach for the Boys and Girls water polo programs at Northwood high school. Originally from the east coast he has been swimming and playing water polo at a very young age, he then relocated to Southern California where he attended Northwood High School and picked up the interest of coaching. He’s now been with the team for over 7 seasons and continues to strengthen the program leading the teams up multiple divisions and is concurrently teaching economics. Aside from coaching he’s started Wells For Wellbeign which is a non-profit that operates in Cambodia to build wells and deliver clean potable water to villages.
