Chapter 3 of 22 - Best Friends

Chapter 2 of 22 - First Surfboard
-Art walks into Bajan Surfboards where he meets Joe Montgomery, the owner of the surf shop.  Joe is one of many proud Black Surfers who originates from the island of Barbados.
Art tries to talk his mother into helping him buy a surfboard.  Joe shows him a used board that he falls in love with.  This is a special defining once in a lifetime moment.  The day Art gets his first surfboard!

Chapter 1 of 22 - BECOMING A SURFER
Art, a 10-year-old boy is sitting near the shoreline making a sandcastle when The Surfer walks up beside him.  The Surfer gives Art a smile and a nod as he enters the water.  Art is mesmerized, as he watches him surf the waves with grace and elegance.  This is the day that Art realizes he wants to be a surfer.
