Mormon now tells us what is happening in his time. It is total wickedness.
The Nephites ask him to lead their army. He takes them through 3 battles and then refuses to command them anymore.
He reminds us that we will all have to stand at the judgment seat. 
He tells us of all the blood and carnage that has taken place. 
The Nephites ask him to come back and help them and he does.
One last battle at the Hill Cumorah. 
Everyone is killed except for 24 people, including his son Moroni.

The Book of Mormon is a sign that the Lord has begun to gather Israel. 
4th Nephi - The Nephites go from an Idyllic state to a state of total wickedness.

The church is to be named after Jesus Christ. 
9 of the 12 disciples ask to come into the kingdom with the Savior. 3 of them want to stay on the earth until the Savior comes again to bring more souls to Christ.

The Savior reminds them to put Samuel the Lamanites words about many saints being resurrected into the records. We must be diligent in keeping records correct and include the important things.
