Two veteran members of the music community, Charlie Faye and Adrienne Lake, have joined forces to launch a new Austin-based creative services agency for music organizations and musicians. To celebrate their new business and provide a free educational opportunity for artists, they have teamed up with Austin Music Foundation to present a panel and mixer on team building for musicians.
The Thursday, February 9th panel, titled “Building Your Team, Building Your Music Career” covers preparing for and creating relationships with management, booking agents, licensing agencies, record labels, publicists, and consultants and takes place at Native Hostel in Austin, TX. Featured panelists are Traffic Music Group’s Kevin Wommack (Management- Los Lonely Boys, Lisa Morales, Jon Muq), Melanie Lane of M Lane Agency (Licensing- formerly of Universal Music and Bug Music), Atomic Music Group’s Enrique Bravo (Booking- Jenny & The Mexicats, Nortec Collective, El Dusty) and Samara Simpson of Spaceflight Records (Label- Urban Heat, Primo The Alien, Golden Dawn Arkestra) and will be moderated by Lake and Faye. The event is free to the public and includes a mixer after the panel.
