WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY?
One of the most frustrating questions in politics today is also one of the simplest:
Where is the accountability?
When leaders make decisions that impact millions of people — from wars, to economic policy, to major government actions — someone should answer for the outcomes.
But too often, accountability seems to disappear.
In this episode we look at:
• Why accountability in government feels harder to find than ever
• The political systems that protect those in power
• How partisanship can block real consequences
• The role of voters, media, and institutions in demanding answers
Accountability isn’t about revenge.
It’s about responsibility.
Because in a functioning democracy, power and accountability are supposed to go hand in hand.
