This week we finish up the second portion of Isaiah with a beautiful chapter that personifies Israel as a woman and a promise made by God to be her husband and to protect her and to give her many children.

This week we are looking at the good news that will come on the people of Israel. It involves a messenger with pretty feet that bears a new word of good news about a servant who will purify the nations with his disfigurement.

Join us this week for Isaiah turning to the faithful few followers of God and promising them that God will eventually come through for them. This is a great chapter if you are filled with anxiety about the future and new some promise of the hope that God gives all of us who believe in Jesus.

This week we sit down and discuss the compassionate examples of God's favor to the Israelites. It's a great beginning for a new section in this book as God promises a servant who will come and help free Israel from their oppression by the Babylonians. 

This week we finish the trial section of Isaiah 40-55. This is one of the most powerful chapters in this whole section and is the middle chapter of the section, signifying it's importance. This is definitely one to listen to really closely.

Noah is again solo this week as he tackles the prophecy of Cyrus and how he will come to power despite all the other nations of the world assuming he'll fail. Noah talks about the theme of Messiah a bit and how Cyrus became the Lord's anointed. This is a great episode and even a little shorter than most our episodes lately! Huzzah!
