This is the first psalm where the psalmist asks God for forgiveness and is an important song for seeing the relationship between God and humanity.

This episode Noah works through Psalm five. This psalm is intentionally pitting the voice of a wicked and lying heart against the psalmist's voice, a voice that prays often to God for help. Noah reads from Jane Eyre, gives a funny story about Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Psalm 5, on expounds on the idea of caring about tongue in this fifth episode on the Psalms.
