Fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain or a threat. To me, the keyword in the definition of fear is a threat. What we perceive as a threat we fear.

Religion is the system but faith is the belief. To me the system is irrelevant it is the belief in God that matters. Instead of arguing about what God looks like let's become more worried about what he stands for, love.

Instead of thinking about what you do not have, you should think about what you do have and count your blessings. Someone somewhere is asking God desperately for what you take for granted. No one likes to give to ungrateful children and neither does God, our father. So, if you want more be more grateful.

You cannot have your cake and eat it too. You cannot have God’s favor and man’s acceptance. Either you will please people or please God. There comes a time in life when you must choose between the past and the future. It is not possible to make it to the future if you keep taking trips to the past.

Everything you do must be in order for there is a rhythm to life. We cannot rush or do things out of order. You have to crawl before you walk and walk before you run. Doing things out of order can cause trouble in the future, for instance, building a house before you have laid down the foundation. The house may be okay for a while but eventually, it will fall and if a storm comes along it will be destroyed.

If you look back over your life I bet you can think of several times God has spared you. When people close to you fell by the wayside, he kept you safe. If you are alive, you should thank God. If the people you use to do drugs with lost everything and became strung out, but you made it through you should thank God. If the people you were breaking the law with ended up in prison, but you are free you should thank God. If you have been in any kind of trouble but you are good now, you should thank God. God did not have to save you, but he did.

God chooses the weak to do mighty things in order to show his glory. He often picks people who have been faithful with a little to give more too. In my opinion, people who have always had to make it work with little or no resources are more productive than people with limitless resources because they have more to lose if they fail. Do not be restricted by what you do not have, make it work with what you got. Let the world know that all things are possible with Christ.

God’s purpose is manifested in your life as a gift. The purpose is the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists. A gift is a natural ability or talent.

You do not have the life you want yet because you are not the person you need to be yet. You have not met the requirements for God’s promise. You may be asking yourself what have I not done. What did I miss? I often ask myself the same questions. I feel like I have done all I can do to turn my life around but I am still not, where I need to be. Then one day it hit me. When you have done all you, can then its time to be patient and wait on God.

The problem with most of us is that we do not truly believe. You have to have more than just fair-weather faith. You have to trust in God in the storms as well. Nowadays people give in too easy and their faith is weak. You have to learn to be patient and endure because your faith will be tested before you are rewarded.
