As we approach the end of 2023, we reflect on the numerous miles covered and countless adventures experienced—a fitting conclusion to the year. The Bovasin Team proudly announces the successful accomplishment of the Montana Upland Grand Slam, a challenge we embarked on several years ago. This achievement required multiple trips to various locations, where we diligently sought and harvested all the recognized Upland Game birds in Montana. The 2023 season is drawing to a close, leaving the Bovasin team with a bittersweet sensation. The reality is not only do we have to watch out for dangers in the field, but we also have to be vigilant about potential threats coming at us from the political front.

Bovasin Outdoors finally had attended the annual deer camp of 2023, but this year fell short of expectations. With disrespectful "out-of-staters", dwindling deer numbers, and a noticeable absence of mature bucks, the overall experience was notably slower compared to previous years. Blow off some steam with Bovasin as we vent our frustrations and discuss our concerns about the current trajectory of this once-magnificent state.
