Happy 81st Birthday to the United Nations.On 24th October 1945, the world said: Never again.After the war, 51 countries came together and signed one promise — to choose peace over war, dialogue over hate, and humanity over division.81 years after, that promise is still Work in Progress. That's why we have the SDGs.For me, as a champion of *SDG 16 — Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions*, UN Day reminds me of one simple lesson we forgot in school and at work:Nobody's success blocks your own.That classmate who refused to share notes. That colleague who hides information. That leader who builds weak institutions. All of that is anti-UN. Anti-peace.The UN was built on the opposite idea: *Shared future. Shared notes. During this festive period at The Bow, Nigeria's celebration preparations have taken a concerning turn. Some individuals are prioritizing quick gains over integrity, leading to questionable practices. Early contributors to savings schemes (cooperatives) are growing anxious about their investments as the colllector or the firm has vapourized. Furthermore, food vendors are serving subpar food at inflated prices. Where has our integrity gone???Welcome to INTEGRITY (4).
