The Bowdell Podcast

Today, I will be discussing scripture from Proverbs 3:1-8, for the purpose of helping us understand how maturity in a relationship with Jesus always has multiple elements/parts that build one upon another. In Proverbs 3, we are given clear instructions that guide the man of God to mature and prosper in a relationship with Jesus and with Man.

Proverbs 3:1-8

My son, do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commands;2 For length of days and long life and peace they will add to you.

3 Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck,Write them on the tablet of your heart,4 And so find favor and high esteemIn the sight of God and man.

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil.8 It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones.

Often, this question will be presented in some way, shape, or form…..“Do You want to be Made Well”? How we respond brings forth maturity in our Faith that Jesus is the One True Living God !!

John 5:5-6

5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
