My guest today is world renowned orthopedist Dr. Tom DeCoster.  This is his third time on the show and we are making his way through his life story.  On part three today we discuss his medical school and the very beginnings of residency.  We talk about treating the wounded from prison, marathons, and people going crazy on their way to getting their M.D.

We recently took a trip to East Corinth Vermont to visit Mallory's Grandmother Joan Brainerd and her Aunt Jan.  We had the opportunity to sit down and talk about growing up in that farm life of Vermont, WWII and how she met her husband Harry.

My brothers and I met up at Kevin's house to go to a Packer game and we recorded a show.  Enjoyed rehashing some stories about Mom and Dad's grocery store, the hunting cabin and how we disappointed our parents from time to time.

Happy Fathers Day!

Taking some of the fathers day to talk about 'if' by Rudyard Kipling as a guide to becoming a man.  It resonates with me as I am raising to sons of my own.  If they are able to meet most of the standards of this poem they will grow to be greater men than I am.
