Born and raised in Italy, Carlo Tortora Brayda, started his first entrepreneurial business at the age of 23. It’s exploded in success and ultimately evolved into a business he sold for millions. His home now rests in Silicon Valley, USA.
Carlo has lived a life of renaissance. His life experiences detailed in this inaugural episode illustrate a life full of extreme business success, wealth, power and fame success tempered by humbleness, empathy and charitable vision.
Part of the Ethiopian Royal Family who become subjected to being hunted during a revolutionary period in Ethiopia, Carlo chose not to indulge in luxury with his post-business-sale success. In fact, he led a team to the most poverty-stricken depths of Ethiopia to battle the nemesis of business: poverty.
He formed charitable organizations and built more than 10 Entrepreneurial Academies helping 1000’s of families escape war-ravaged poverty.
Spending the last pennies of his former fortune helping those families battle poverty, Carlo was faced with a new challenge, the loss of all political power and financial leverage, as he his funds had dried.
Overcoming the subsequent struggles, Carlo has returned to Silicon Valley and did it…again. He has repeated his prior success and built a stellar brand and a global business.
