A 17 year old girl on the night that changed her and her family's life, Katie Willis came face to face with shock, grief and pain much earlier than most high school seniors. Following her mother's tragic death, Katie had to pick up the pieces. Now the mother of 4 "little women" of her own, an avid baker, advocate and a brain cancer survivor, Katie reflects on the night that changed her life, and the days--and epiphanies-- that followed.

Here's the thing. I've got a lot of thoughts on several VERY serious topics. November is an awkward month full of awkward encounters and awkward food names like "stuffing".
