In today's episode, we're talking about how to build a business that supports your dreams, your dream schedule + your dream income = dream life. What are the steps we should be taking today to start creating our dream life?
1:22: I hear people say all the time that "I'm waiting to have a baby or to get pregnant or take a vacation, etc." because they feel that they can't step away from their business. People think that if you're not physically there in the business, it won't run. That mindset is locking yourself into that 9-5 position that you need to be "in office" to make money and for the business to run. However, you didn't start a business to be back in a 9-5 setting
3:20: Hire people who are subject matter experts, i.e. social media or marketing. Those people can give 100% all day every day. Someone else will be executing it better for you.
4:55: I multiplied that investment by 3x and hired three people within 60 days. Take the quick, messy action and make decisions today based on your end goal.
5:29: Ask yourself: How do you envision yourself? What is your mindset? What's your morning routine? How much money are you making and want to be making by next year?
13:19 We treat our business as so fragile and doubt ourselves when 9 times out of 10, the failures aren't as detrimental as we make them up to be. A lot of times, they're learning lessons and often propel you into the future
15:19: You need to start taking action today for the future you. This is what I teach in the academy and to my students: are we making choices today in our business and our life to get us to our future selves and the next level?
15:41: One of my favorite quotes is "You can't have a million dollar goal on a $1.00 work ethic." You can't want to make a million dollars by refusing to do the work and without making investments - that's not realistic. You have to put in the work and show up for your future you. Most importantly, you need to know who the future you is.
