Today on Perry and Shawna Mornings David Doerner, teaching pastor at Frontline Community Church in Grand Rapids joins the team.  We talk about how spiritual breakthrough is like labor pains, it’s painful to give birth to the new things God wants to do in us.  David shares how he learned this early in his ministry on a mission trip that went off the rails.  Then, if the only thing that happens during this pandemic is that God’s love for us get pushed a little deeper, it will be worth it all. Next, Station Manager Jack Haveman steps in to share how hard this pandemic has been for him and the breakthrough he’s experiencing in it. 

Then we talk about how breakthrough means leveling up spiritually, growing up spiritually, how that’s hard and painful!  Shawna opens up about how this is happening in her life right now, how painful it is, and how it is showing her that Jesus believes in her.  And finally we have a conversation about our hope that the world will be reborn out of this pandemic, that there will be a reset, a renewal, a recreation of God’s kingdom purposes in the world.  Share this if you’re encouraged by it!
