Every year, the St. Augustine City Commission presents awards to individuals or organizations for outstanding service and contributions to the city. In May, coinciding with Historic Preservation Month, the Commission recognized Margo Pope, presenting her with the 2022 Adelaide Sanchez Award for Historic Education and Interpretation. So, this week on The Break Room, Margo Pope joined us to discuss her career in journalism, as well as her work with The Women's Exchange.

So this week on The Break Room, Buddy Schauland, the City's Building Official and Flood Plain Administrator, will discuss a FEMA reimbursement program called Flood Mitigation Assistance, as well as upcoming workshops for residents and contractors.
