I’m trying to figure out if this is jerk or justified, and need a little help! My girlfriend of 3 years, was stumped on a Father’s Day gift, Her dad is very hard to shop for. Her mother came up with the idea to get him a gas powered weed whacker. I did the research and found one for $170. I so happen to be off from work on day and told my girlfriend this is how much it is, and if she transfers the money into my bank account, I’ll go pick it up. She replies with that’s fine, since your helping pay for it, I’ll transfer half! That’s what I want to know if it is jerk or justified! Reason being, we never discussed me paying for any of it. She pulled that out of thin air.
