    Your skills will not sell themselves. if you’re an entrepreneur, it’s not enough to just be great in your field. you have to be able to sell your service so that you can profit, people can’t hire you if they don’t know you exist.
    What’s up guys? it’s your girl, breonna queen, and I help service based entrepreneurs get to the money so they can sell their services consistently. today we are talking about something I used to hate, hate hate but now I love dearly and that is sales and marketing.
    I think sales and marketing gets a bad rap right? because there are people who sell in a very bad way, they’re manipulative, you know they are annoying.
    You know they just people who like sliding in your d. m. trying to sell you stuff you didn’t even ask for it. like I feel like sales and marketing gets a bad rap but selling is not a bad thing, selling is a good thing and I honestly feel selling saves lives so when it comes to sales and marketing, sales and marketing does not have to be sleazy, doesn’t have to be gross.
    Doesn’t have to be scary. doesn’t have to be negative. especially as an entrepreneur, you have to learn to sell your offer, you have to learn to market because again, people can’t buy what they don’t know &
    Doesn’t exist. nobody likes to be pitched to. I personally, I don’t like to be pitched to. I hate it and selling may be scary to you because maybe you’ve been pitched to, maybe you have felt like sales can be scammy or maybe you’ve had someone who was trying to sell to you and you felt like you was just a number, right? like they didn’t care about you as a person, they just wanted your money.
    So maybe you feel like sales is unnatural or icky or you don’t want to be the kind of person who sells and you’re manipulating people or your aggravating people or annoying people.
    I get that, but sales does not have to be that way. in today’s video, i’m going to share with you guys some, some tips for selling and why I love sales because I feel like sales is transformational, it allows you to transform others lives.
    So contrary to popular belief, selling doesn’t have to be bothersome. selling is helping people, like you’re truly helping someone when you sell, let’s say there’s someone in the world, right? and their hair is breaking off and it’s breaking off and it’s dry brittle and they’ve tried everything, they’ve read all the books, you know, they’ve done everything they possibly can to help their hair, but their hair just keeps breaking off and they’re just like at their wits end.
    They’re like, oh my gosh, like I just don’t understand why my hair is breaking off this bad. they are struggling.
    They are suffering. here comes you, you are a beautician who focuses on dry and brittle hair. by selling your offer, this person discovers you.
    And they’re like, oh my gosh, I didn’t even realize that this was an option for me. I didn’t even realize there was a specialist who specialized in my dry brittle, you know, 4c hair and they’re excited.
    You’re helping someone who thought that one, either a. the problem didn’t exist or b. that there wasn’t someone to help solve their problem. you’re helping someone by selling your service, you’re helping someone to overcome a problem.
    A hurdle, a pain point,

She has her own network OWN. By the way, I have been featured on The Rock start out doing wrestling. Come on, everybody knows that. “Do you smell what the Rock is cooking?” We all did that as kids, and that is one of the highest paid actors in the world AKA, Mr. Dwayne Johnson. So what does Oprah and Dwayne Johnson have to do with this video? Well, they both pivoted, they both started off doing something and then they evolved, they expanded, they scaled, they switched it up. So today’s video we’re talking about pivoting. I’m gonna be sharing my own entrepreneur journey, you know what I’ve done differently, how I’ve switched it up, as well as why you should not feel bad for reinventing yourself and switching it up in pivoting when the time is necessary. But first, let me introduce myself. My name is Breonna Queen. I am an entrepreneur, a content creator, and I help people just like you, as service providers, really grow their business and self with ease.

    0:01:10.6 Breonna Queen: So in today’s video, I’m sharing my entrepreneur journey as well as sharing how it is okay for you to pivot in your own entrepreneur journey. So let’s go ahead, it and let’s get to it. So, my entrepreneur journey was kinda by accident. I had graduated from college, could not find a job to save my life, but them bills was still looking at me. They was looking at me and I was looking at them, and I was looking at them and they were looking at me. So I was like, “Oh my gosh, I gotta figure out a way to pay these bills.” So I just had to start my own business, just helping business around the area do their social media and back then Twitter and Facebook was really hot. So technically, I was a social media manager and I had a client come to me and they wanted to get on YouTube. And at that time, I didn’t know anything about YouTube, so I started my YouTube Channel just to help a client as a social media manager. So this YouTube channel, you guys may know it is my Breonna Queen behind the scenes channel. It kinda blew up, right? You know, millions of views, over 85,000 subscribers, and I kind of pivoted, I went from being this person via social media to switching up and doing my YouTube channel and kinda becoming a YouTuber.

    0:02:22.0 Breonna Queen: So my YouTube channel was not about business, it was about makeup, and I found that I really enjoyed doing makeup people love to watch my make-up tutorials. So I pivoted, I went from really being a social media manager to be in a beauty YouTuber, and it kind of evolved into me doing beauty books, having my own cosmetics line, being a make-up artist. So all of those things happened and it was a pivot, it was an accidental switch. Right? So I was a makeup artist, I was doing make-up, I had lots of clients, I had a cosmetics line, I was getting sales every single day, I was technically a very successful makeup artist, but I didn’t love it. It was more like a hobby that I was getting paid for that I kind of wanted to keep as a hobby. So I decided I was gonna pivot again, back to business. As you guys know, I love business, you know my degrees are in business, I was doing business anyway, with my full-time job, so I was like, “You know what, we are switching up,

  • How to start a profitable blog from scratch in 2021 (ultimate step by step for beginners)
    Did you know there are people in these internet streets who make 5 figures, 6 figures and even 7 figures with their blog?! Blogging is still profitable (yup, even in 2021!) and yes, you can absolutely start a profitable blog from scratch today.
    Disclaimer: Blogging is not a get rich, quick scheme. It requires hard work, consistency, patience, and strategy. Today, I’m sharing how you can not only launch a blog but make money with it too!
    You ready?!

    First, I have a confession… blogs don’t make money.
    Nope, I didn’t make a typo there. Blogs don’t make money. Businesses do. So if your blog is not a business, it’s going to be pretty freakin’ hard to earn money with it.
    Your blog should have a strategy as to how revenue will be earned (will you sell a product? Offer services? Cash in with affiliate links?) as well as a business plan (who is your target market?). So as you create this blog, think from a business aspect…. not a hobby aspect.
    Hobbies are things we do simply for fun when we feel like it.
    A business is something we are dedicated and committed to. We push through even when we don’t feel like it because we earn money with it or plan to in the near future.
    Before you decide to start a profitable blog, truly commit to it. No half-stepping, luke-warm, sorta-kinda, so-so, maybes allowed.

    This page may include affiliate links, meaning at no extra cost to you, I might earn a small commission if you decide to purchase something.

    WATCH THE VIDEO: How to make money blogging
    (podcast version available below)

    STEP 1: How to figure out your blog niche
    Gone all the days where you write your blog like a Dear Diary article. Blog posts should answer questions and provide valuable content to readers. If you want to start a profitable blog then you should know that blog posts shouldn’t be about you, they should be about the reader.
    Just like this specific blog post is helping you solve a problem (ie: how to start a profitable blog!), your blog post should do the same (answer a question). So the first step to starting a profitable blog is figuring out what exactly you will blog about.
    blog posts shouldn’t be about you, they should be about the reader
    Pick a niche when it comes to your blog. A niche that solves problems and you know enough about to be able to write about consistently. I personally believe any niche where you solve a problem (and people are willing to pay for a solution) is profitable. So no, your niche doesn’t have to be popular but it should be profitable.
    Popular blog niches:

    * Beauty
    * Travel
    * Fitness
    * Food
    * Finance
    * Fashion
    * Relationships
    * Career
    * Gaming
    * Politics
    * Home Decor
    * Entrepreneurship
    * Love & Relationships
    * Hair
    * Family & Home
    * Photography
    * Diets (Such as Keto, Vegan, Vegetarian, Paleo)
    * Technology
    * Investing
    * Lifestyle Humor

    If you don’t have a lot of experience in a niche, please stay away from it. Don’t start a blog in a niche simply because you’ve witnessed others’ success in it. You have to actually enjoy what you’re talking about.
