The Brewz Brothaz - Beer Podcast for the Culture

See a full written recap of this audio here from Ed of Better on Draft.
Dayne Bartscht, the Managing Partner of Eastern Market Brewing Co, put together a panel to discuss diversity, inclusion, and equity this evening. He was also the moderator who asked questions posed to Eastern Market Brewing Co on social media, his own wonderings, and from the audience. The panel included:

* Harry Weaver, founder of the Brewz Brothaz podcast
* Sasha Womble, member of the Brewz Brothaz podcast
* Eric Plata, headbrewer of DeHops Brewing Company and Café (Walker)
* Rachel Szlaga, owner of Brewery Faisan (Detroit)
* Jasmine Hairston, program specialist at Eastern Michigan University and beertender at Eastern Market Brewing Company

The panel discussed a tons of topics including their first craft beers, how "craft beer" has changed over the years, the economics of beer, and how to be more inclusive to ALL types of people that enter a brewery or attend an event.
The event gets cut off near the end due to unforseen circumstances but a good portion of it has been saved and recorded.

Recorded live at Eastern Market Brewing in Detroit, MI.

Recording live from 8 Degrees Plato in Detroit, The Brewz Brothaz discuss the most recent Founders fiasco and give a timeline explaining how they’ve been following this matter for a year (since our very first episode) from ignored emails and phone calls to Founders to declining help to get this right...

Dayne from Eastern Market Brewing Company stops by to discuss their crazy week and we drink whiskey and talk shop with Tim Costello of 8 Degrees Plato Detroit.  Dayne has decided to remove EMBC from the Brewers Guild Festival and their feelings towards Founders removing themselves, and Tim discusses taking Founders off the shelves of 8DPD.

The show starts off a little late but Dan from Axle and Dayne from EMBC hop on to chat about their recent business deal and the future of EMBC. Dayne drops a news bomb about upcoming legislation down the Michigan pipeline, and Ken from Better on Draft hijacks the show to talk about the history of Axle. The second half has the sales team from Ellison on the show to promote the upcoming anniversary party and to try some of their beers too!
