Andy B, Russ and Pete were delighted to start the second year of the podcast off with an absolute bang as we were joined for a chinwag by Albion legend Brian Horton, the man who captained the side to 2 glorious promotions in 3 years in the late 70s, culminating in our first ever stint in England’s top flight and many happy days including a 3-0 drubbing of P*lace and that oh so famous promotion-clinching win in Newcastle.

We talk the early days in the Midlands, Port Vale, Alan Mullery, Seagulls Specials, John Vinicombe, Hove Park, Peter Ward’s house and enormous dog, part time Sunday League gaffering and fans in trees in Newport (we also reviewed the Newport cup (eventual!!!) win).
