Jealousy says God owes me. Jealousy isn't about what others have. It is about how God hasn't show up for you.

Greed says I owe me. Greed disguises itself but deep down believes whats mine is mine because I earned it - and I've got a lot more coming. The habit to combat greed is generosity. Generosity puts faith in action and moves fear out.

Anger says you owe me. Anger is the result of not getting something you want/deserve. The habit to combat anger is forgiveness. Forgiveness is a gift we give to others as well as ourselves.

Guilt says I owe you. Guilt is the result of having done something we perceived as wrong. The habit to combat guilt is confession. Public confession has the power to purge our hearts of guilt.
