The Sycamore Tree- The Power of a Changed Life.

Luke 19: 1-10

1. A man desperate to see Jesus- Luke 19: 2-3

2. He climbed what others wouldn't- Luke 19:4

3. Jesus sees what others ignore- Luke 19:5

4. A real encounter produces real change- Luke 19:8

When someone truly encounters JESUS, their life cannot stay the SAME.

The Fig Tree- The Danger of Empty Religion

Mark 11:12-14, 20-21

God is not looking for LEAVES- He is looking for FRUIT.

1. The Deception of leaves without fruit- Mark 11:13, James 2:17

2. The Danger of Religious Performance- Mark 11:17, Matthew 23:27

3. God Desires Fruitful Lives- Galatians 5:22, John 15:5

Stay connected to JESUS daily.

Allow God to change your heart.

Let your faith affect your actions.

When holding on is the key to your breakthrough.

Ruth 1:14-18

1. Holding on is a choice, Not a feeling- Ruth 1:16

2. What you hold on to determines where you end up- Ruth 2:12

3. Holding on will cost something- Hebrews 10:23

4. God rewards those who hold on- Galatians 6:9

Luke 10:19

1- Authority is given by Jesus, Not earned by us.

2-Authority operates through the name of Jesus.

3-Binding and Loosing enforces kingdom rule.

4-Authority must be used and exercised.

The Obedience Key- James 1:21-24

In the kingdom of God, Obedience is the hinge that allows blessings to open.

1- Blessing follow Obedience, Not promises alone.

2- Some Obedience is still Disobedience.

3- Obedience is proof of my Love for Jesus.

A door cannot open without a Hinge.

Worship: Access Into the Presence of The King.

Matthew 16:15-19

1- Worship is how we enter God's presence.

Psalm 100:4

2- Worship is about surrender Not sound.

Romans 12:1

3- Worship changes atmospheres and breaks chains.

Acts 16:25-26

4- Worship shifts our hearts to the kingdom.

Matthew 6:21

Matthew 6:10 "Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."

1.) Prayer is kingdom authorization- Not religious routine. Matthew 16:19

2.) Prayer aligns earth with heaven- Matthew 6:9-10

3.) Persistent prayer opens closed doors- Luke 18:1

4.) Effective prayer flows from a right relationship with God- James 5:16

1.) Faith is required in the kingdom - Hebrews 11:6

2.) Faith comes from the word of God - Romans 10:17

3.) Faith is released through words & action - Mark 11:23

4.) Faith walks by trusting, not by seeing - 2 Corinthians 5:7

This week, I will

* Replace fear with faith

* Spend time in God's word daily

* Take one step of faith in obedience
