There are numerous prophecies in the Bible that predict the birth of Jesus Christ. One of the most well-known passages comes from Isaiah 9:6, which was written over 700 years before our Savior came to earth. This particular prophecy describes Jesus through names that reveal who he is and what he came to do. As we ponder on these names of Jesus, let us not forget the incredible gift that he is to us. He is our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.
