As we continue our series “He Shall Be Called” we are studying the prophesy in Isaiah 9:6. This week we’ll look at the name, “Everlasting Father“. What does it mean that Jesus is our Everlasting Father? This name can seem a bit confusing, but as we dig into the word of God together, we’ll find it has incredible implications for our lives!

Join us as we explore the significance of Jesus being our Wonderful Counselor. The term "Wonderful Counselor" highlights Jesus' crucial role as the ultimate source of wisdom and guidance for his followers. He graciously teaches us how to lead a life that honors God and points us toward the path of righteousness. Jesus is the best example of how we should lead our lives. We can always rely on him for guidance in every aspect of our lives.

Matthew 8 recounts an extraordinary miracle performed by Jesus, in which he cast out demons from two possessed men. This act is a testament to Jesus' power and authority, as he commands the evil spirits to leave the bodies of the afflicted men, and they obediently depart. This display of divine power serves as a reminder that there is no darkness or evil that can withstand the love and grace of God. We invite you to join us this weekend and be encouraged to trust in his power to overcome any and all obstacles that we may face in our own lives.

When hard times come, it is often difficult to see anything beyond the situation in front of you. This is how Jesus’ disciples felt when they found themselves in the midst of a great storm, fearing for their lives, but Jesus miraculously demonstrates to His disciples His authority and power over any storm. We come across many “storms” in our life, but Jesus reassures us that we can put ALL of our faith in Him to bring us through anything. Join us this Sunday as we see how we can trust in the power of Jesus to calm the “storms” in our lives and prepare us for the storms ahead!

Following Jesus is an incredible journey that brings about amazing blessings in our lives. What do you do when you see a friend in a desperate situation? We all have people in our lives that we care about who go through difficult things. The Bible shows us how to care for people in need and who to go to for help. Join us this week as we continue in our series “The Power of Jesus." We will see a faith filled request for a friend from an unexpected person.

When tough times come into your life how do you respond? We are ending the Sermon on the Mount series with Jesus sharing a parable to explain the importance of building on a solid foundation. So when the wind and waves come into our lives we will still be standing!

False prophets were common in the Old Testament. They prophesied only what the king and the people wanted their itching ears to hear. False teachers are just as common today.
