Samson was a beast and his victories are legendary but this strong warrior had some even stronger weaknesses. In this message, we will discover some attitudes that can make even the strongest of men become weak.

Failure is an event, not an identity! Samson’s story teaches us that just because we fail at something, it doesn’t mean we are a failure. In this message, we will discover the right response to failure.

Samson went from legendary hero and unconquerable foe to becoming the Philistine’s laughing stock—a weakling with both eyes gouged out! How could this happen? How could he travel so far from where he was? The same way each of us do—one small step at a time.

Technology and advancement are great things that make our world a better place to live. They are also clear signs that the end times are upon us.

As parents, it can become overwhelming trying to provide everything our children need to become successful and happy in life. We are often quick to pick up the yardstick culture hands us and measure success for our children by superficial standards. Over time, we start thinking the most important things are for them to attend the right college, make the right friends, marry the right person, live in the right neighborhood and have the right career. While these things may be important, ultimately they are not most important. Imagining the end, helps us focus on what’s most important in our children’s lives and reminds us that God is always writing His narrative with their lives.

Sometimes we can become hyper-focused on making sure our children are obeying the rules. Our discipline and lectures take on the notion—“I’m right because I’m in charge! So, get in line and do what I say!” In this talk, we will discover that God, though He is always right and always in charge, chooses to focus on the relationship more than the rules. He is bent on fighting for our hearts and challenges us to do the same for our children.

As parents, the most important thing we can do to help our children grow to love God and become productive members of society is put ourselves at the front of the line! Our personal growth is imperative for us to pass along a legacy.
