In this message, we will learn about a guy named Adam and through him, we will discover what every guy needs to know about ladies and relationships.

Everyday people go about their lives Ft. Bend County desperate to know that there is a reason for their existence and a purpose to fulfill. Close to 70% of those people refuse to go to a church and hear about a God that loves them and has a plan for their lives because experience tells them church is irrelevant and boring. The fact should break our hearts! Fortunately, God has given The Bridge the opportunity and ability to change that perception and create a Better Future for every person in the Sugar Land/Richmond area-but we need your help! How can you come alongside The Bridge to help change a person's world for eternity?

What would it look like to live BETTER lives and to really strive to make the world a BETTER place? In week three of our series, we will take a look at real life examples of how The Bridge is taking on this challenge.

Sometimes defining "What Breaks Your Heart" and then determining a plan of action can be difficult. To help further clarify these things, we will deal with the question-"What do you want people to line up and thank you for at the end of your life?" Be warned-the answers to these questions will inevitably cost you something-time, money, energy, life, etc... Jesus said, "Whoever devotes themselves to themselves will have nothing to show for themselves but themselves." The essence of following Jesus is self-denial, not self-improvement. Jesus invites us to step out from our comfort zones and to give our lives away because purpose in life is always found just across the line from "What's in it for me?"

This is that time of year when we become painfully aware of where we are not, who we are not, and what we need to do differently. Traditionally, the New Year is a season of self-absorption. It's all about what we can do to make ourselves better people. The result is that churches, health clubs, debt counselors, and vitamin shops do a booming business. But we tend to forget that the people we respect the most didn't devote their lives to becoming the best version of themselves. They devoted their lives to making a difference in the world...or in someone's world. We will deal with the question-"What Breaks Your Heart?"

After Satan struck back at God in the Garden of Eden, battle after battle was fought in what appeared to be an endless war and humanity, God's prized creation, continued to suffer. Then God made an unprecedented and bold move by opening the skies and invading planet earth in the form of a human! Jesus was more than a Jedi-He was God in the flesh! What Jesus did, not only took Satan and forces of darkness by surprise, it secured victory for humanity for all of eternity! (Christmas story and how Jesus changed everything!)

With Lucifer, the Lord of Darkness, cast from Heaven, God sought to reveal His glory in a different way. He created humanity as His crowning achievement with the desire to radiate His goodness and presence through them. However, the Lord of Darkness, better known as Satan, refused to simply allow human beings to reflect the glory he felt was taken from him. With his empire in place, he struck at the heart of God by tainting His prized creation with sin, guilt and shame! For years to come, it would seem that God's forces of Light would constantly be harassed by this Ruler of the Kingdom on the Air! This message is about the serpent in the Garden of Eden and temptation, sin guilt, and shame entering the world.

A long time ago in a galazy not so far away...a cosmic battle raged between the forces of good and evil with the fate of humanity hangin in the balance. Peace had existed since eternity past and God reigned supreme as the good and righteous ruler of the universe...until one rose from among His ranks to challenge His authority. Lucifer, the Beautiful Morning Star, attempted the most audacious coup in history and lost! He and his followers were hurled down from Heaven to the Earth but the Lord of Darkness was far from finished! Message will focus on the battle in Heaven between Lucifer and God which resulted in him being cast out and becoming Satan.

Instead of spending all of our money on ourselves, God wants us to put our money into circulation and to do some good with it. The Bridge has a strategy to Do Good both locally and globally and we work through various partnerships to change the world.

Jesus said, “You can’t serve both God and mammon!” What is mammon? Mammon is the pride and arrogance that gets attached to money that hasn’t been submitted to God. When we live for the money—we get caught by the mammon and invite more problems into our lives. But when our money is submitted to and serves God—He blesses us and our money!
