The Bright Side Comics Chat

🎒Lots of news this week.  Plenty of comics to talk about.  Discussions about TV shows. And there is spoiler talk at the end with some Kryptonite Key Club time where John and DJ discuss Daredevil #22, Iron Man #1 and the direction Marvel is heading.  All that AND a debate about the future of DC Universe!  How can you NOT want to get into the store?

John and DJ can't wait to talk all things comics and this week there is plenty to talk about.  There are a bunch of new books, DJ read an older book he heard about from an old friend on Twitter, Obi-Wan show news, Young Justice news, Ant-man news and a bunch of listener comments from all over social media. Plus a little talk of episode 4 of The Boys.  Plenty of fun in store.

🎒Big, Huge Issue this week!  And to go along with their HUGE celebration there is some big news/changes coming to the Bright Side Chat.  All of that is before John and DJ break down episodes 1, 2 and 3 of season 2 of The Boys on Amazon Prime.  Then after that they have some Comic Book recommendations for later this week.  A jam packed Issue so lets get into Arkham Comics and Games and get in on the action...

Let the boys know what you think:

🎒John and DJ are back at it after DJ had a nice vacation and didn't read, watch TV or anything.  DJ couldn't wait to get back in the store and start talking about all the goings on that he missed.  What did he miss?  Anything good?  You'll have to step into Arkham Comics and Games to find out.  Come on in, John doesn't bite.   Unless you're into that sort of thing.

🎒This week starts off in a direction that you probably aren't expecting but it's all fun.  John and DJ have a great time breaking down The New Mutants movie and giving their opinions.  Was it good? Was it bad? Should you see it in the theater? Should you see it at all? Do John and DJ agree?  All ya gotta do is step into the store to find out...

🎒John and DJ start of this week with what is being talked about in all comic books stores, and everywhere else, and that's the sad news of the passing of Chadwick Boseman.  After that they get into a Mandalorian update, a New Netflix Series and more.  Plus a really strange and interesting book this week in Checkout.  We will let you decide which one we are talking about.  But be sure to stick around for Kryptonite Key Club as the guys talk about the bombshell that is the Daredevil Annual Issue.

🎒Felt kind of like a slow week in comics until John and DJ got together.  They have three new #1's to talk about this week so be sure to "check out" which ones they recommend.  Fun "news" chat that goes towards a Star Wars take but that's not hard to believe with them.  Plus DC Universe/HBOMax, The Boys S3 and more.  Step into the store, listen in and join the conversation on Twitter @BrightSide_Chat
