BROADS ONLY- Ricky Hollywood and EmmaVP are together, alone, again with no guests. They recap Ricky's exes wedding and EmmaVP took Thor for the weekend. The BroadCap gets deep when Ricky and Veep break down the current rift in their friendship and try to clean up some hurt feelings. As always, we hit a Couples Update and address a DM of the week.
Ricky and Emma are joined by their friend, NFL Network writer, analyst and podcaster Marc Sessler, to talk about important matters like the length of men's pants these days, fad diets and being starstruck. The Broads also pitch Marc some new and exciting names for his podcast, The Around the NFL Podcast, to hopefully attract a greater listenership. Marc also talks about his social media strategy in his quest to lose followers and discusses whether or not football is simply overrated.
Ricky and Emma are joined by their first-ever guest to complete the coveted BroadCast Podcast three-peat, YouTuber and musician Ally Hills. The Broads kick things off by delivering on a massive Ally-related relationship scoop and make sure to ask many journalistic follow-ups on behalf of her devoted fans. Ally also details her experience having her film rejected by Amazon Prime four times and gives Ricky and Veep a lesson on how to properly use click bait in their videos.
In the BroadCap, Ricky recaps her trips to both Tybee Island and "Jet Farms" in Vermont, while all Emma has to share is that she's still dealing with a bit of vertigo two weeks after being on a booze cruise with the Broads' manager and third host. Then, while discussing dream guests for upcoming shows, Erica and Emma decide to dial up their old intern, Sabrina?, who is now working alongside Katie Nolan and doing... quite well. Also, in honor of their 9th Annual Pride 'Cast, the Broads share a clip of Erica's thoughtful response to NFL player Carl Nassib's coming out announcement from the Around the NFL Podcast.
Ricky and Emma catch up in the latest edition of The BroadCap, delving into Erica's wild and extremely funny weekend at her ex's bachelorette party, highlighted by some drunken Instagram stories that later had to be taken down and a scandalous "Britney Spears Night." In Rick's absence, Emma went on a booze cruise in honor of "Dad Summit" with Brett, Jet, third host Colleen Wolfe and coincidentally, the Broads' Manager Kristin, where contrary to Erica's jabs, they did in fact socialize normally. The Broads then wrap the show with a brand new edition of their favorite fan advice segment "Dear Broads."
Ricky and Emma are joined by their friend and dream first official "All Things Comedy" guest: comedian, writer and almond spokeswoman Megan Gailey! The Broads discuss important matters like how Megan's bangs have impacted her comedy, the worst part about working with your spouse and appropriate price points for Cameo videos. Megan also weighs in on which current trends in stand-up and in comedy at large are "in" or "out" in aptly named segment, "In or Out: Comedy Edition." Erica also debuts her new tight two minutes of stand-up material for Megan and the Broads wrap the show by checking in on the response to the show from "All Things Comedy" fans so far.
Erica and Emma reveal their Big Hero 6-sized news that they've officially signed with podcast network, All Things Comedy. Despite their agreement to break this special news on their very own show, Erica spilled the beans on "The Jeselnik and Rosenthal Vanity Project" and we hear Anthony's response to this scoop of a lifetime. The Broads also check in with their Third Host, Colleen, get a voicemail from their agent/manager and indulge in brand new editions of weekly segments, "Couples Update" and "DM of the Week."
Ricky and Emma kick off the show with an expert level tease of some big news they plan to break at the end of the episode, while cautioning listeners not to skip ahead. The Broads talk about Emma's new job, Rick's time watching Emma's dog while she was home for a wedding and their relationship statuses in this edition of "The BroadCap." Also, in a Jet-heavy turn, Erica shares an essay she wrote on Jet's behalf for graduate programs and a piece of Jet-starring media that was begging to be further analyzed. Rick and Veep wrap the show with their new segment, "Broad It Forward," and of course detail their breaking news.
Ricky and EmmaVP are back in the ol' podcasting saddle as they are every week, to talk Erica's continued failures on her journey to become verified on Twitter and their own respective fame in their small hometowns. The Broads also detail their recent outings in LA and Erica's inability to not strike up inappropriate conversations with restaurant servers. Emma and Ricky then shoutout their DM of the Week and wrap the show by playing a brand new clip from Emma's husband's successful podcast: Hot Sauce, Hot Takes with Brett.
Ricky and EmmaVP return for another weekly edition of the program to talk about their outlook on 2021, Ricky's ongoing quest to get verified on Twitter and proper dog training techniques. Rick and Veep then engage in one of the most heated debates in the show's history, outlining their positions on how many cupcakes should be gluten free on Erica's birthday. The Broads also provide each other with some tough but fair March New Year's Resolutions and wrap the show by answering some burning listener questions in "Q & Broads."
