This week Chris looks at Sabbath as Resistance. 

Chris and Debbie are a treasured part of our Broadview community. Chris is the Director of College Services for Science and Engineering at Flinders University. He is also a Dad, Husband and whilst he doesn't look old enough, Chris is Granddad to some very special little people in our church family.

This week is our third of three weeks as we celebrate Pentecost and the coming of the Holy Spirit. In this sermon Andrew shares about how important it is to recognise and desire the gifts of the Spirit in the church.

Andrew and Rachael lead our Broadview community, have three wonderful kids and desire to participate in God's renewal through King Jesus. Andrew loves to ride his motorbike, drink coffee, almost any team sport and figure out the most creative or fastest way to anywhere using a map or his sense of direction.

This sermon is part one of a three part series focusing on Pentecost and the Holy Spirit. In the coming of the Holy Spirit, the church was born! Ian looks at what it is to follow the Spirit today and what that means for us. 

Ian Ellis is an elder at RBC and is the previous lead pastor of Rostrevor Baptist Church. Ian was instrumental in the formation of the revitalisation at Broadview by exploring what it might look like for Broadview to become a part of the RBC family.

Through this series our hope is that we will see the significant role we have to play in God’s story and be encouraged to live fully as the new humanity who is lavishly loved by God and unified in love with one another.

This week Reuben shares from Ephesians 4:17-32

Apart from being a beloved part of our community, Reuben is also the Baptist Chaplin to Adelaide University. Reuben is married to Jodie and the Dad of two wonderful girls. There really isn't much that Reuben can't do, whether its creating a beautiful meal or coffee, repairing a roof or building a picket fence.

Focusing on Ephesians Chapter 4 , Bekk shares the stories from Hope Street.

Bekk is the founder of Hope Street, a gospel initiative focused on young people in Adelaide's northern suburbs. Hope Street we strives to create a safe, fun and inclusive community that is conscious of the needs of the young people in our neighbourhood as well as giving them the opportunity to experience God's love. This week Rachael looks at the stories of the Risen Jesus in John 21.

Rachael and Andrew lead our Broadview Community. Rachael is our Community Engagement Pastor, helping Broadview to build bridges with and love our neighbourhood.  Rachael is also TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages) teacher and lecturer. Currently Rachael is also working for Baptist Care in the church support team, whose aim is to engage and equip Baptist churches in engaging and supporting their neighbourhood.  She is passionate about those living in the margins, especially refugees and asylum seekers.
