This week, Andrew continues to share the vision for our church in 2022 and asks us to consider what it means to be re-awakened to waiting upon the Lord.

Andrew and Rachael lead our Broadview community, have three wonderful kids and desire to participate in God's renewal through King Jesus. Andrew loves to ride his motorbike, drink coffee, almost any team sport and figure out the most creative or fastest way to anywhere using a map or his sense of direction.

This week, Rachael continues to share the vision for our church in 2022 and asks us to consider what it means to be re-awakened to abiding in Christ. 

Rachael and Andrew lead our Broadview Community.  Rachael is a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages) teacher and lecturer. Currently Rachael is working for Baptist Care in the church support team, whose aim is to engage and equip Baptist churches in engaging and supporting their neighbourhood.  She is passionate about those living in the margins, especially refugees and asylum seekers.

A beloved leader at RBC - Rostervor, Charity leads the African Fellowship for the RBC family. Charity is an amazing Kenyan woman, community leader, wife and mother. Charity is currently studying Theology/Ministry at Tabor College Adelaide.

Michael is a practicing doctor (GP) specialising in addiction and on the board of Maranatha Health (MH). Miria and her husband Mark are key leaders in our community, both are dedicated to see others come to know Jesus, His love for the world and His grace and power in their lives. They enjoy a good board game over coffee, singing worship in the car, a musical or being part of a full house at the Adelaide Oval.

Chris and Debbie are a treasured part of our Broadview community. Chris is the Director of College Services for Science and Engineering at Flinders University. He is also a Dad, Husband and whilst he doesn't look old enough, Chris is Granddad to some very special little people in our church family.

Throughout Luke's gospel, Meals with Jesus are important theme. What happens at these meals, who is invited and what is shared create a picture for us of what God's Kingdom is like and how radical it is.

This week Reuben looks at Luke 14: 1 - 24.

Apart from being a beloved part of our community, Reuben is also the Baptist Chaplin to Adelaide University. Reuben is married to Jodie and the Dad of two wonderful girls. There really isn't much that Reuben can't do, whether its creating a beautiful meal or coffee, repairing a roof or building a picket fence.
