And then because it's National Pet Day, I'm doing a short Top 5 list on behalf of animal kind. Animals are great and deserve the love so I'm talking about 5 games where animals are the forefront of the theme or art or mechanics.

Then my first impressions from a nearly finished 1st campaign run of Sleeping Gods which has finally hit my table. There's a lot of good to say.........but also a couple of bads.........including one big bad.

Bit of a "on the nose" topic today for everyone. After my channel updates and a shoutout to GAMING INDOORS for my channel promo, I have to tackle something I wished I didn't have to.

I've have worries about the board game community particularly the creator community and lately we've seen a lot of drama on social media with designers, creators, gamers etc. And I can't not give my thoughts any longer! I need to try and rekindle some of that love for the community like I had 7 years ago when I first started as a content creator!

I'm so exhausted, THANK YOU JANUARY! Being a tax accountant in the UK means that January is a hellish month! And with lockdown + remote working it's even harder this year. So on the last day of the worst working month of the year, I want a ton of board games to talk about!

So after I give my channel updates, my channel promos come back with a highlight of Board Gaming Perspective! Support small creators because others do not!

And then the main event! Shem Phillips published his Top 100 list on Twitter! I want a ton of board games to talk about! So let's go through his entire list and comment on it!

I'm not just a board gamer, I'm a PC gamer as well! And this episode highlights that fact.

First of all I go through my channel updates as well as a brief message to the community to not divide themselves.

Hello 2021!! Hopefully we can have a better year but it's certainly not getting off to the best start outside of gaming is it?

I'll talk about some channel updates and my life in general first, then give you two reviews of 7 Wonders: Agora and New York Zoo. Then I'll skim over some upcoming releases of 2021 and give my thoughts as to what I'm looking forward to.

Possibly the most heart-felt I've been during a podcast! On this bumper length end episode marking the last podcast put out for 2020, I take a look back over the channel and what I've achieved (or not) throughout this year, reflecting on my experiences what worked/didn't work. Has the channel grown or do the views say otherwise?

While talking about that I'll also lay on some plans set in motion for what the channel can offer in 2021.

After that I'll reflect on some games of 2020 - not my "best" game as that's on my recent Top 10 list, but discussing my top surprise, disappointment, reprint, expansion and of course, the worst game I've played in 2020.

There's a lot of discussion from the heart in this episode especially my final apology at the end. Here's to a brighter future in 2021! Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year!!

To make room on the shelves I had to sell off a bunch of games from the collection. So many that I think it was worth talking about my reasons why in a podcast episode! So after I talk about some channel updates, I'll explain why all these games didn't have what it takes to remain on the shelf.
