Re-uploaded because I accidentally uploaded the unedited video file which meant you had to put up with all my horrendous coughing............
A lot of hot news on the board game scene, a health update explaining why content has been limited for last week and then a full run down of my experience at the UK Games Expo as well as games both good and not so good that I played!

The Broken Meeple Show - Episode 72 - UK Games Expo Preview
CAUTION - this episode may have strong opinions! Accept it!
Oh my god this is a bumper episode! After my channel / health updates I talk about finally having played Explorers of the North Sea and give my thoughts. Then in the news we've got a potential legacy game, the Spiel Des Jahres underwhelming nominations and the paid content/alledged blackmail controversy for Quackalope. And then culimnating with a lengthy section on the UK Games Expo where I talk about the "few" gaming highlights I'm after, but mainly to disclose some tips and tricks with first time attendees.

The Broken Meeple Show - Episode 71 - The Broken Meeple Show - Episode 71 - Golden Geek Awards Rant
CAUTION - this episode may have strong opinions!
After some concerns with channel growth, the route that content creation is taking for everyone these days and some hot news, I go into.........well a giant rant at the Golden Geek Awards. Easily the awards I give the least credibility to and looking at the winners this time round.........not much has changed.

Who Am I?
One single batchelor from the UK talking about his passion for board games and the people who play them! I support small content creators, board game cafes and go against the status quo when it comes to the board game industry. I give my honest opinions without bias towards any publishers or designers and will not hold back if I don't like a game.
The Broken Meeple is a variety channel that hosts all kinds of board game content from reviews to Top 10 lists to playthroughs to live stream collaborations with special guests (predominantly small channels who deserve more exposure).
I look forward to engaging with you, the community on my live streams or in the comments on my videos!

About The Broken Meeple

From the publisher's feed

The Broken Meeple - a UK Board Games blog and podcast that reports on board and card games. Reviews, Top 5/10 lists, or just anything that's on my mind! One thing is for sure - I don't hold back and will speak my mind!
