There is a system of racism that operates just like fivefold ministry.

The preacher’s response during this time of injustice is to preach Christ and HIS delivering power. At times deliverance and healing come with pain. We have to see from the eyes of the oppressed to understand their pain. We can’t give up nor lose hope when we see the pain, hear the cries, and the lashing out.

The cause of the gospel is to represent everything that Jesus did in the earth. He was the God of the oppressed and he freed the oppressed by HIS words and power. We have the same commission and cause.

In order for deliverance to come to our country the church must be forthcoming and honest about the role it played in slavery. Once that has happened then we can begin with the conversation of reconciliation after recognization. Healing can come from the church when it is willing to do this to have those hard conversations. The hard conversations lead to understanding and the wisdom to strategize against this plague called racism.

It’s easy to tell oppressed people to forgive. This tactic has been used to shield the responsibility of those who practice racism, white supremacy, and white weaponized privilege. Until you deal with those issues that are shielded you can’t tell people when and how to forgive. This is hypocrisy at it’s finest.
