Rogers! Lumberjacks! Napoleon! There's a gremlin in the machine at Brothers Raskin Studios. The sound might be off but the laughs are just right. Ever put a price tag on looking good? Brother Patrick starts the show with a price check on the old soup strainer. Travis Kelce gets put on blast as Brother Ben talks Napoleon and Tony Scott's best movie (and yes, yet another group of talented brothers putting in the work). SPOILER: Ben really liked Napoleon.
The second half of the show is all about historical movie pitches. They didn't have time to get to Fireball winning gold at the 2010 San Francisco Spirits Competition but they did knock back eight great ideas. Apologies to Mark Kram for thinking Mailer wrote the book and just got to Netflix for Wham!.
Listed below are the books:
The Real Frank Zappa by Frank Zappa (1990)
John Quincy Adams: Militant Spirit by James Traub (2017)
Ghosts of Manila: The Fateful Blood Feud Between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier by Mark Kram (2002)
George Washington: A Life by Ron Chernow (2010)
A Crack in the Edge of the World by Simon Winchester
Guns and Shea Butter: The filming of Predator by The Hollywood Reporter
