The Brvtalist is proud to present a new mix from Lady Tazz. The Canadian-Bangladeshi artist has become known for emancipating dance floors worldwide, whether in Berlin, London or Bogotá. Her own heady and hypnotic productions have appeared on Rekids’ offshoot RSPX, and showcas what she is all about: atmospheric soundscapes with raw textures, erotic moods and mind -melting synths all topped off with ethereal vocals that lodge deep in the soul. She's also known for throwing underground raves in Bangladesh under the Techno Bunker banner and her Mind Medizin label Mind Medizin label also helps her on her mission. It is an ecosystem of self-expression with its own sporadic events around the world where people are free to explore the dark and mysterious, the seductive and the shadowy. Today we are thrilled to present this electrifying mix through her sound and also have a great Q&A with artist which you can read on our website at:

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new music video from Kontravoid. Renowned for his decade-long exploration of dark pop intricacies, the enigmatic Canadian-born, LA-based artist delivers yet another remarkable full-length album, following the success of his previous works such as Too Deep (2019) and Faceless (2021). In his new album Detachment, he presents a unique blend of infectious body music, electro, freestyle and gothic nuances.

Today, we unveil "Losing Game," a track featuring Chelsey Crowley from synth-pop sensation Nuovo Testamento. It serves as a natural evolution of Kontravoid's distinctive sound, with his signature pulsating rhythmic bass lines and Crowley's vocals in an ethereal floating feather, shining through Madonna-esque overtones mixed with the hi-pitched allure of Clare Grogan from Altered Images. "Losing Game" feels like stumbling upon a hidden gem from 1984, yet it's a creation firmly rooted in the present.

Out March 1st on Artoffact Records. Available on digital, CD and vinyl formats. Pre-order your copy now: https://kontravoid.bandcamp.com/album/detachment
