Different types of grief discussed in the book "The Garden Within" by Dr. Anita Phillips:

• Anticipatory grief- reaction to a death/loss you were able to anticipate such as when an individual dies from a long term illness
• Complicated grief- debilitating, long lasting, and/or impair your ability to engage in daily activities. 
• Ambiguous grief -wondering what could have been or wondering if it ever will be 
• Disenfranchised grief-parents if still born babies, nurses loosing a patient

What is a belief? Tony Robbins defines it as the absolute certainty about what something means. Your beliefs dictate your emotions and your emotions equal the quality of your life.

Want to know how to avoid ruining your day? Don't should on yourself. This is such a memorable phrase to use when you find yourself arguing with reality.  Arguing with reality looks a little something like, "That dog barking is so annoying. Why won't its owner make it shut up." Dogs bark, its a part of life. Why argue with what is? This is the line of questioning from my favorite author and spiritual teacher Byron Katie. One of my favorite Authors Byron Katie wrote, "An Unquestioned mind is the world of suffering" and I couldn't agree more.
