But everyone knows that there are two surefire ways to ruin a good party. One is vampires. We hate that. All they do is stand outside begging to come in all night. It can really put a damper on the evening. But the other, and arguably much worse, party buzz kill is a guy with an acoustic guitar. Nothing sucks the life out of the room like a guy named Blake struggling through Wonderwall. Not even vampires. On second thought, let the vampires in. They seem pretty chill, but tell Blake to kick rocks.

It seems like everyone wants to be famous these days, and although fame can open up an extravagant side of life that most people will never experience, it's not without its drawbacks. From crazed fans leaving their dirty underwear on your apartment floor, to constant hounding by paparazzi and everything in between, being famous must feel, at times, like everyone is just waiting for their chance to crawl inside your life and hollow you out. And not to mention the 12 foot slimy demon that is literally trying to crawl inside of you and hollow you out. Not many famous people mention that particular downside to becoming a star.

"Just smile through the pain". It's not everyone's idea of sound advice, especially when dealing with past trauma, but sometimes it's the best thing you can do. In fact, sometimes it's your only option. When you're faced with this looming despair, hanging over you... like a 12 foot tall demon... waiting to crawl inside of you... and destroy your life from the inside out.... all you can do is... Smile. It's a metaphor. Do you get it? But also that 12 foot tall demon is real, so you know, run!

The majesty of nature. Sometimes it's enough to stop you in your tracks. Hiking to the top of a mountain overlook. Standing on the edge of a vast, untamed wilderness, soaking in the view. It's almost crippling in it's beauty.... or that feeling could just be the effects of the paralytic toxin that some handsome stranger injected you with. On second thought, going outside is kind of overrated.
