This one is personal. As an American not born in America, and a woman who knows firsthand what it means to live under a country that does not value its women, this episode is a passionate and unapologetic tribute to the men and women who gave everything so that the rest of us could have everything. We talk about sheepdogs, Christian values, the true cost of freedom, and why sitting on a comfortable couch criticizing this country on Memorial Day is not a right we earned. Someone else earned it for us. The least we can do is be grateful. To the fallen: you claimed 2 Timothy 4:7 both spiritually and literally. You fought the good fight. You finished the race. You kept the faith. God bless you and God bless America.
In a world of encrypted messages, private chats, and secure networks, it turns out the most secure channel of all has been available to every one of us all along. In this episode, we explore how God communicates with His children, through Scripture, through prayer, through the gentle nudges of the Holy Spirit, and through a direct line that no one else can access or intercept. We also meet a German Shepherd who will stop at nothing to find the person she loves, and ask ourselves the uncomfortable question: am I seeking God with that same fervency? This one will make you smile, make you think, and hopefully make you lean in and listen a little more closely today. Your secure channel is open.
You have seen it on the t-shirts, the coffee mugs, and the car decals. "You Are Enough." It is well intentioned, widely celebrated, and according to years of personal therapy, ineffective. In this episode, we get honest about why the world's most popular affirmation falls short, where it comes from, and what we should have been told instead. Spoiler: it involves a God-sized hole, a healthy dose of humility, and the only One whose opinion of you actually sticks past the parking lot. If you have ever wondered why all the positive affirmations in the world have not made you feel any better, this one is for you.
Not all storms are created equal. Some are correction and some are perfection, but all of them come with a companion you may not have expected. In this episode, we unpack a powerful sermon on Matthew 14:22-33 and land on the one truth that changes everything: God does not just watch from a distance while you navigate the storm. He is right there in it with you, sharing the pint of ice cream, cheering on your victories, and keeping every promise He ever made. Even on your most whiny, mopey, unbearable days. Especially then. If you are in a storm today, this one is for you. You are never alone.
What do a set of hand-decorated Christmas stockings and Jeremiah 7:10 have in common? More than you would think. In this episode we explore what it truly means to be called by God's name, marked, owned, and identified as His. We dig into what that ownership means for our safety, our behavior, and our identity as children of the King. If God is for us, who can be against us? And if His name is on us, does our life reflect it? This one starts with a craft project and ends with one of the most honest prayers you will hear. Come claim your identity today.
What does the American flag have to do with surrendering to God? More than you might think. In this episode, we take an honest and personal journey from struggling to feel any patriotism at all, to discovering a deep and unexpected love for America, and tracing exactly where that love came from. Spoiler: it was not a flag or an anthem. It was surrender. When the Hound of Heaven finally caught up, something shifted, and with it came a love for this nation that is deep, honest, and rooted in something that will not change with time. We also explore why a country founded on Christian principles is essentially built on the ultimate honor system, and why loving America well might just be practice for Heaven. God bless you and God bless America.
In this episode, we dig into one of the most understated stories in the Bible and discover that the mandate for every believer, man or woman, is hiding in plain sight. Protect, preserve, work hard, and rally the troops with words that heal. Be the salt. Be the light. And when necessary, do not be afraid of the sting. God did not give you that role by accident. He is fully prepared to back you up. Now arise and go.
What can a borrowed, stubborn, distraction-prone puppy teach us about backsliding? As it turns out, quite a lot. In this episode, we follow one irresistible bundle of cute stubbornness through a Mother's Day weekend and land somewhere surprisingly profound: if we cannot fault a tiny puppy for getting distracted, how much grace should we extend to ourselves when we backslide? And more importantly, how much grace does God extend to us? The answer is in Jeremiah 3:22. If you are feeling dashed against the rocks today, this one is for you. He is waiting with open arms and He will heal the backsliding. Every single time.
What does a cheesy wrestling movie, a Hebrew word study, and a sleepless night with God have in common? More than you would think. In this episode, we explore what it really means to wrestle with God, why He would rather engage with us in a full match than watch us walk away, and what the name Israel has to do with all of it. Jacob refused to let go until he received a blessing, and God honored that. It turns out that God is not offended by our struggle. He is the one who started it. So hold on, do not let go, and get ready for the most important match of your life.
What happens when you choose prayer over panic? In this episode, we walk through a Friday morning that started with a work crisis involving three teams, a slim chance of resolution, and every reason to spiral. Instead, there was morning tea, a quick dog pee break, and a conversation with God. By the time the computer was open and ready for battle, the battle was already over. And the rest of the day? The birds chirped louder, the grass looked greener, and every breath felt like a gift. This episode is a reminder that gratitude is not just a feeling. It is a lens that changes everything you see. Great is His faithfulness, morning by morning.
