This Memorial Day, we remember the bravery and sacrifice of the men and women who have given their lives in the service of their country. While we honor their memory, we look forward to a future, lasting peace that Jesus will usher in when He returns. This Mother’s Day, we reflect on the blessings that God gives to us through our mothers. We study the example of Mary, the mother of Jesus, and learn through her famous song of celebration that "God's mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation." (Luke 1:50)

Easter doesn’t end with the empty tomb: Jesus is truly alive, and true life is active life! Jesus came out of the tomb and immediately went to work, preparing His frightened people for the great work that He would shortly give them to do. Today, we explore Luke chapter 24 and see a beautiful picture of the relationship that God wants with each of us: a relationship that is real and personal, and which is based on a real understanding of who Jesus is both to the world and to each of us personally.

On the first Easter morning, the Road to Calvary, with all of its tragedy and suffering, ended with joy. The first eyewitnesses cried “Jesus is alive!” This message is as true today as it was then: Jesus is alive! Join us as we study Jesus’ resurrection and learn about the hope that it gives us today.
