The Holiday season has a yin and yang feel because of the seasons people are walking through. My Dad taught me to Celebrate the Gift of life by embracing everyday as miracle . He lived each day of his life with an attitude of gratitude because he trusted God with every moment. I have a blue crotched angel hanging on our Christmas tree as a tangible reminder of his presence.

Meet Tiffanie Holt, a military wife married to her best friend for 21 years. She is blessed to be a mom of 4 beautiful children, 2 boys ages 18 and 16, and 2 girls ages 14 and 12. She is a teacher whose loves her community and enjoys cooking. On June 7, 2019, her life changed forever when she was diagnosed with Stage 3C Triple negative Breast Cancer. However, her life didn't just change, it changed for the better! Lean in to listen to her story. Even through life's challenges, we can still count our blessings if we are intentional to pause and reflect. Diagnosed with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNET) in 2013 and in remission since 2019, Gideon Amoah is one of the first patients in Wisconsin to receive Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT). PRRT is not a cure for NET. The aim of this therapy is to slow or stop progression of growth and decrease symptoms associated with the hormones released by the NET. Gideon says, "At least for me and my family PRRT has, and continues to deliver on its promise to "buy time".

Born in Ghana, West Africa Amoah has also lived and worked in Zimbabwe, Botswana and the United Kingdom. He currently resides in the United States with his family. Amoah has become a public advocate with multiple health organizations and a virtual coach for cancer patients. He credits God and his loving wife KL for helping him to live his dreams.
