Meet Kimmie. She’s a badass, female grower here in Oklahoma that consists of only a two person team and grows some really good flower. She grew up in Reno, NV. At age 17, she went to California to trim and harvest, until she was 22. In this episode, Kimmie tells us her experience with being on the federal raid list and having to chop down 16-20 foot, Humboldt style plants. At one point on her journey, she bought a farm in Maine and grew there too. She’s fun and spicy and shares with us a blast from her past, touring with her band. Meet Brook. He’s the advertising director for a local OK publication, Herbage Magazine. He grew up in Houston, full of culture and different people, and eventually made his way back to Oklahoma. He previously managed a treatment center and it never set well with him how the system operates with prescribing medication for patients and not other herbs and stuff that would actually help. With a big heart and passion for the plant, he also helped his own mother get off 10 different prescription drugs, and taught her the right way to shop for Cannabis as medicine. In this episode, Brook expands on how Cannabis has impacted his life greatly and how turning inward and doing the work on your inner self, is really where the magic happens and your perspective shifts.
