The Cannon Cruisers

The Cannon Cruisers are BACK, continuing our cruise through the Cannon catalogue.

This week, JD and Randy pulled into a little dive bar down in Los Angeles and had a drink with our friends, Mickey Rourke, Faye Dunaway, Frank Stallone, and Barbet Schroeder.

That's right, we finally checked out the classic 1987 film, "Barfly".

"Drinks for all my friends!"

And we're back with another exciting edition of "The Non-CANNON-ical Adventures of JD and Randy".

This week we continue with our Summer theme of Video Games and Video Game Adjacent movies with the 1994 American Science Fiction Slasher, "Brainscan".

Goodbye Reality! HELLO VIRTUAL REALITY!

Hey everybody, this week we check out some TOTALLY AWESOME VIDEOGAMES!

That's right, we take a look at the 1983 comedy classical, "Joysticks".

It's a freakin' boobie sex comedy. Sigh.

In this week's "Non-CANNON-ical Adventure of JD and Randy", we check out the 1994 Albert Pyun Masterpiece "Arcade".

Randy really wanted to watch this for some reason and we don't know why.

Enjoy!

On this week's "Non-KANNON-ical Adventure", JD and Randy take a trip to Outworld to watch some death fights.

"GET OVER HERE!"

That's right folks, the KANNON KRUISERS watched the video game film classic, "MORTAL KOMBAT (1995).

"Toasty!"

This week we journey back to a simpler time of dial-up internet, phone booths, and the perceived imminent threat of Thermonuclear War and the end of all mankind.

The film this week is "Wargames" (1983).

Would you like to play a game?

Hey! Hi! Hello!

This week we continue our Summer Cruise through the Video Game and Video Game Related Films catalogue.

This week, we check in with Cannon favourite, Jean-Claude Van Damme, in his starring role as Guile in 1994's "Street Fighter: The Movie".

Enjoy!

I feel like a kid again. Spending time with my bro, JD, playing video games, watching video game related films, and just hanging.

SUMMERTIME!

So, let's take flight back to the 80s once more, where having the highest score could make you a true hero.

This week in Non-Cannon, we check out the 1984 Sci-Fi classic, "The Last Starfighter".

On this weeks exciting edition of "The Non-Cannon-ical Adventures of JD and Randy" we continue our Summer Journey, and check out the first live-action adaptation of a video game.

That's right, guys, gals, and non-binary pals, SWING YOUR ARMS FROM SIDE TO SIDE, it's time to do...the...mario!

We watched the 1993 video game film classic, "Super Mario Bros."

Hey everybody, it's the Cannon Cruisers, and in this week's "Non-Cannon-cal Adventure of JD & Randy" Summer Special Series Thing, we check out a very serious movie about a young boy, traumatised by the death of his twin sister, who runs away from home with his elder half-brother and a homeless teen girl. On the run from a scummy PI, and the rest of their broken family, they set out for California, learning about life, love, and moving on along the way.

That's right, we checked out the 1989 Family Classic, "The Wizard".

"CA-LI-FORNIA! HERE WE COOOOOOOMMMMMMEEEEEE!"
