Join us for another season of the Cardinal Fly-By Podcast. On this episode, our hosts are joined by Principal Troy Jones as he recounts not only the exciting times we had last year but also what is to come for the 2024-2025 school year.

Principal Jones also shares insight on why he works so hard and how important high school was for him. Principal Jones will also share some insight into why, when it was time to get a new car, he knew exactly what to get. The "what" is not surprising but the why will certainly reveal something you may not have known before.

Remember, we can't wait to answer all of your questions at the end of the month so please send them by visiting www.tinyurl.com/CardinalFlyByQuestions.

Enjoy a unique perspective on the Graduating Class of 2024 from the voices of the graduates themselves.

This week, we were joined by Trish Tran, Jesus Ortiz, Anaiia Carter, Maddie Mendoza, & Sophia Tran.

These 5 outstanding students take us on a journey through their 4 years at Osborne. Hear of the challenges they faced and the important educators and people in their lives who got them through their high school years.

Listen to their stories and feel their investment in the path that led them to graduation.

Sit back, relax, and grab a box of tissues if you are the type who cries. These students brought genuine emotion to this episode.

As one student shared, "WE DID THIS!"
To the Osborne Community... we did this.
Over 500 students crossed the stage, representing countless stories of triumph.

This episode is the end of our first season of podcasts and we look forward to sharing more stories as the new school year approaches.

Great things are happening on Favor Road and we appreciate you stopping by so we can share what's in the Cards!

Cardinal Nation!

Today, our listeners are in for a treat as Ms. Dimas, Ms. Yale, and Coach P recap what is certain to become a new tradition.

We have been building toward an event that we knew would be special. The Senior Spotlight was even more than we thought it would be!

It was an evening to enjoy family, fun, food, music, and the special joy that embodies the Cardinal Nation!

The evening began with families streaming in to set up their tables and enjoy all that the event promised to offer.

Families enjoyed music, food, and dancing as we inched closer to sunset.

Just before sunset, the seniors took one last photo together and then rejoined their families.

The students AND their families or support groups were presented one at a time as they walked down an avenue of light.

After the final student was presented, one last group walked into the spotlight - the Cardinal Staff. The people who spent countless hours supporting, cheering, and pushing these students to the end of their K - 12 careers.

Finally, the community counted down from ten to zero and they were greeted with a thunderous show in the skies as fireworks filled the atmosphere.

We hope you enjoy this special episode.

Grab some tissues and get ready for what may be our best episode yet.

With the SENIOR SPOTLIGHT happening the NIGHT of the release of this episode, we thought we would highlight a few Cardinals! This special episode features just a sampling of Osborne Staff Members who are also Osborne Alumni!

This special episode features a TON of laughter and lessons from over 30 YEARS for flying high as an Osborne Cardinal.

Michael Hewett serves as a teacher in our Transitional Academy. He was a student-athlete who ended up in education after a conversation with Coach Jones (now Principal Jones). You'll be able to hear his passion for all things Osborne and a special excitement to see how the football team has performed this year!

Jasmin Molina serves as a literature teacher and was recently announced as the Teacher of the Year! She went from a highly involved student at Osborne and returned with that same fire for inspiring students!

Kimberly Amaya will be a Spanish teacher next year in her first year as a TEACHER at Osborne! However, she's been no stranger to Osborne since her graduation. She had an interesting evolution as a teacher that speaks to the transformative power of our school and how deeply educators care about OUR students!

There is SO much to learn this week on the Cardinal Fly By!! We don't want to ruin the surprise so listen now to a PHENOMENAL EPISODE!!

Welcome back to another exciting episode of the Cardinal Fly By!

Our first guest is Senior Counselor, Ms. Foley-Talley,  who plays a key role in helping our seniors finish out their academic careers successfully.
From academic checkpoints to scholarship opportunities, she is a great example of the extensive services our school counselors provide for our students.

Our second guest is Assistant Principal Jennifer Glendenning. If you have been a student, teacher, or active part of the Osborne community over the last 38 years, you have crossed paths with Ms. Glendenning.
