We also have young Otto Reade on as a guest to finish off. A young man who's passion for angling is infectious. He's a youtube blogger and Mike caught up with him to discuss what carp fishing is like in his generation.

We also added a few additional features this month, plus we discuss our thoughts on rigs and seasonal observations. Then to top it off we have a great guest in the form of ESP's main man, Dave Ellyatt. Mike sit's down with Dave at the ESP HQ and chats through a life in angling and what it's been like working in the trade for over 25 years. Mike also delves into product development, the joys of filming with the iconic Terry Hearn and of course Dave's personal fishing targets.

Mike and Mark are back again and in episode 15 they delve into the topic of pre baiting. Yes it's good for the fish but what challenges does it present for a fishery owner, syndicate etc. The issues of claiming swims and telling others about your plans certainly divide opinion on some waters.

As well as our usual ramblings we have a new feature called "whats in your bag" plus we touch on the rise of huge carp around the country and last but not least we have a special guest interview from Tom Last. The last man to ever catch the huge, current British record carp the Parrot.

Despite Mike's terrible hayfever we still manage to sit down and discuss the importance of shutting lakes during spawning. We also answer a listeners question on why do some fish hardly ever get caught.

Plus this months special guest is Rich Howell aka Reg Bampton, a man who's been around the block, someone who's often popped up in Dave Lanes books over the years as his love affair with Horton started at a very young age. In fact he was the youngest angler at the time to catch a forty pounder, the iconic Jack the Net ripper!
