A few more tips when dying your mane: - Double check the ingredients of products that are labeled “natural” and “organic.” Some of them will still contain ingredients like p-phenylenediamine, ethanolamine, resorcinol, and more ingredients associated with harmful health effects. - Bring a safe color to the salon or ask your hair stylist if they will apply yours. - If you’re not ready to make the switch to a safer product, when applying your conventional dye, be sure to use nitrile gloves and apply in a well-ventilated area. - Reduce your overall exposure to harmful ingredients by choosing MADE SAFE or EWG certified personal care products.
