Wow… This week’s podcast is one of my favourites that I’ve done so far! When I was in kindergarten and grade one, I became friends with a young man named Zeboria Peters. We were the best of friends, always hanging out during and after school. Zeboria eventually moved to Victoria, BC, and we lost contact. About a year and a half ago, I received a Facebook message from him and we reconnected.He now goes by the name of Johnny Gr4ves. He told me he had become a vocalist & songwriter, and seemed very determined to make it big.

He sent me links to some of his music, and I was blown away. One of the songs had over a million hits. Fast forward to a few weeks ago; we got in contact, he told me he would soon be in Edmonton for business, and we booked a podcast! Upon arrival to the destination, we said hello, chatted for a minute or so, then immediately turned on the mics and caught up for the first time on air. It was so natural and I’m glad to have been able to capture that on air.

Cassius opens the show discussing his bizarre Twitter spat with Megadeth vocalist/guitarist Dave Mustaine. Mustaine insluted a female fans weight, then resorted to lying and name calling. Segment one is followed by two on-location interviews at "The Last Tour" in Edmonton with Sabaton bassist Pär Sundström, and Battle Beast vocalist Noora Louhimo. 

Paul Goetz is the CRO of Tryke & REEF Dispensaries; two of the most successful legal cannabis production companies in North America. Paul called in to The Cassius Morris Show to talk about coming US legalization, gives tips on how to get started in the legal business, and growing for Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Berner & Dizzy Wright, among many other celebrities! 

In segment one, Cassius sits down with Scott Stanton and Dave Lang from Current Swell (SONY Music) to talk about their upcoming album "When To Talk & When To Listen" [release date May 12th], working/clashing with Grammy award winning producer Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Norah Jones), recording each half of the record between the US and Canada, the struggles of touring, & much more. 

Segment two is a chat with 20 year old Rock/Metal lover & YouTuber, Krys Bastell, to talk about his passion for music, meeting Metal giants such as Alice Cooper, Paul Stanley, John 5, and his life changing experience meeting and speaking with Gene Simmons at St. Louis Comic-Con.
