The how is what we often lean into automatically when we start our project or business. But this how is wildly unhelpful. What you need to do first is to strengthen the 'what'.

It's normal, when you start something new, to have a surge of motivation and after a few days the motivation fading. The main question is, whether this thing is important enough for you, to make it back into your consciousness.

If you continued working on your project on Day 2, congrats! Let's celebrate! If it didn't, you may need to adjust your plan. Make it easier. Create baseline. And tomorrow, try again.

This is step 1. Don't overthink it, just start.
